Product Description:

Mineral fibre Volamit is used within the Knauf Marmorit EPS insulated render systems  and EPS Rail Systems as  a horizontal firebreak between floors and is required above window line in buildings with insulated EPS render systems over two floors.

Volamit can also be used a vertical firebreak for party walls in the EPS insulated render systems if required.

When used within the Knauf Marmorit EPS Rail System a Knauf Marmorit firebreak angle and intumescent fire strip should be used in the cavity behind the Volamit to close the cavity in event of a fire.

Made from non-combustible cross laminated inorganic rock wool and is CFC and GCFC free, and is classified as a building material class A1.

Available in thermal conductivity of 0.041 w/mK and a typical density of 80kgs per cubic metre.

Standard sizes are 40mm 50mm 60mm 70mm 80mm 90mm 100mm 110mm 120mm 140mm 150mm 160mm 180mm 200mm.

Board size 1200mm x 200mm.
